To apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), you must fill out an application and return it to a local SNAP office. Each State has a different application.
An application for SNAP must be made through your local office.
The Food Assistance Program helps people with low-income, buy healthy food. A food assistance household is normally a group of people who live together and buy food and cook meals together. If your household passes the Food Assistance Program's eligibility rules, the amount of food assistance benefits you get depends on the number of people in your household and how much money is left after certain expenses are subtracted.

I am looking to apply for Food Stamps & also Medicaid. I have sent in an application for Medicaid with Magan Lacey at the Florida Department of Children & Families. I sent in my Financial Information Release form & a copy of my Driver's License. I am interested in my status for medicaid. I am interested in applying for food stamps as well. I realize this is a difficult time for everyone. Take care, Stay safe, Stay healthy, Ken Glazier
