The Fair Oaks Community Center is a multi-service facility offering a variety of services to the broader Redwood City Community. Services are offered by a combination of city staff and representatives from public and private nonprofit agencies. The following types of services are available: child care and pre-school, crisis intervention, classes including ESL/citizenship, exercise, art, computers, food programs, shelter referrals, housing assistance, deposit and rental assistance, immigration and citizenship assistance, and legal services. Older adult services, including breakfast and lunch programs, classes and other activities. Information and Referral to a variety of programs and services. Community workers are available to talk with persons needing help deciding what services they need. Call for more information about the full range of services available. This site is part of the core network of community service agencies of San Mateo County and administers the Critical Family Needs Housing Assistance Fund for the Redwood City-North Fair Oaks area.
